Levi finished eating and washed up the dishes before he went and got changed about the same time she did. He laced up his dark boots and was waiting at the door. " Ok we will go to your house, I'll meet you on the main road alright? I have to run back and get my truck." He said in a cheerful manner as he finished adjusting the straps on his knife holster.
He smiled and headed for the door. " How far is your car?" He asked he knew the woods were realitivly safe, but he wanted to make sure she wasn't walking more then a mile or so to get to it. Anything could happen though so he just wanted to make sure. If it was more then a mile he was going to walk her to the car then run back and get his truck.

Charlee grinned.
"Right next to the cabin" she said. "There's a car port there"
She nodded. She left the cabin and pulled open the front door. She gave Levi a soft smile before leaving. She reached her car and pulled open the driver's side door. She quickly climbed in and closed the door, locking it. She checked the inside, making sure nothing or no one was hiding in it. She turned the engine on and it purred to life. She put it in drive and peeled onto the main dirt path that led from the cabin to the main road. She pressed the brake, waiting for Levi to get his truck and come up behind her. She turned on the radio.
Finding nothing but static, she slid in a CD and familiar music played through the speakers. She kept the volume low, incase the loud music attracted anything unwanted. She drummed her fingers on the steering wheel, patiently waiting for a sign of Levi.
The woods were quiet now and dark storm clouds were still threatening to cause some serious damage with a storm. She shivered and turned on the heater. Warm air blasted through the vents. Fall was coming that was for sure. |

Levi laughed and shook his head. " Of course there is. " Was all he said before he picked up the box of medical supplies and ran out side. It only took him a couple minutes to reach his truck. He put the box in the back, checked that nothing had been messed with as he climbed in. He looked around and smiled. He closed his eyes for a moment as he took in the familiar scent of leather. He touched the dream catcher that hung from the rear view mirror. The feathers on it a deep black that matched the color of his fur. He muttered something and started the vehicul up. It roared to life, sending soft vibraitions through the seats. He smiled once more as he put it in reverse and turned it around.
Levi pulled the big black truck up behind Charlee's car and beeped his horn once and waved at her so she knew it was him.
