Alison wasn't quite sure what she had been thinking when she accepted Deo's proposal to eat with him. He hadn't blatantly asked her like if it were a date but she knew his intent. It was obvious both of them had been caught in a situation earlier that neither seemed to want to be in. It wasn't like they had a choice. Well technically Ali had thrownm herself into that group on purpose but in a world such as the one they were living in, there were very few well thought threw choices made by anyone. Even a Radical such as herself had taken a chance to save innocent lives and it was well worth it. Most of her decisions were well planned and organized. That's how the system worked and what she was accustomed to but to watch two people walk into a death trap just wasn't an option for her. Ali was asking more risky with each day and she was sure other Radicals questioned her capability to do her job but in the end she always seemed to be successful. At least so far.
"Well that was interesting wasn't it?" Ali spoke as she and the military man walked the streets back into town. Their run in with Marnie short but meaning in a way. At least for herself. She had every intention of seeing the woman again to take about some things that needed to be considered and sorted out. The encounter with the other man who had been stealing parts from a bus was interesting to say the least as well. She has first presumed him to be a mongral but he was simply someone in need of parts just as Marnie had. Alison couldn't help but smile as she recalled Deo's reaction either. The way he dropped to the ground like he had rehearsed it many times in boot camp was impeccable. She found it to be quite cute. What military trained man with a fell fitted body wasn't attractive. Of course she would leave her opinions to herself for now. As far as she knew, he invited her for the simple need of company, which she didn't mind since Ali spent most of her days alone.
"So where are the rest of your troops?" She asked curiously, trying to continue on with conversation. "Did they leave you behind? Or do you like wandering off by yourself?" She smirked slightly as she whipped some blonde hair behind her shoulders. As they walked the streets to where they decided would be their destination, she kept her eyes pealed for any of the living dead. Or just the living for that matter.

Well his intentions had been innocent enough, he had more or less wanted Ali to come with him if only to win against Marnie. He had no idea what had come over him back there, usually it took quite a bit for a woman to do anything to turn him into a childish prick but for some reason Marnie had gotten under his skin quite easily and stayed there no matter what. He was pretty sure the only thing that had kept him from storm off with his hands in the air cursing was Ali. Something about her made him want to chase her around like a love struck kid. He had never been one to use that word before or believe in it but he had no other word to describe what was going through his head. But love didn't seem to fit either, maybe he just needed to fuck her and get it out of his system, it had worked for him so for so don't judge. Relationships were weakness in these hard times, a weakness he couldn't deal with. That and if anyone at the camp brought back the same girl more then once there would be some serious mocking. Have to love army life...
Interesting? He looked over at Ali as she asked him about their prior situation and he looked away slowly not sure how to answer. He walked almost rigidly, shoulder back and hands clasped behind his back. Partly due to training, partly due to talking down Mudo infested streets and wanting to have his hands near his gun. "I suppose you could call it that if nothing else..." he said, lifting a hand to rub the back of his head almost awkwardly. It was odd how he was at such a loss of words around her, usually he could carry on a one sided conversation with easy. He had always had a way with words. Maybe he should have been a hostage negotiator... Interesting, the thought had never crossed his mind when it had still been an option... But he brushed those thoughts off, they were part of a different life now and he didn't feel the need to stir them up any more. You can't change the past as much as you might try, he knew that now.
He looked to her as she asked where the rest of his troops were and he laughed slightly, smiling and shaking his head as he recalled what exactly had brought him to the highschool that day. Had he been left behind? No, they wouldn't do that he was the second in command. "My commanding officer and I had some disagreements on tactics and I kind of left for the day..." he said with a chuckle, looking at her with the corner of his mouth quirked in a half smile. "Thank god there's no such thing as court marshal anymore or I'd be screwed" he said humorously. He paused for a moment, still walking rigidly but obviously a bit more relaxed with a topic he knew. "Are you here on your own?" he asked, carrying on with the direction of the conversation. Though he seemed more relaxed and he was looking directly at her he was paying more attention to his peripheral vision.

Alison took soft steps as she walked next to Deo. Heading back into town without a vehicle was dangerous for most people. Re-animaters were all over the place and could easily come about within seconds but wandering the town was normal for Ali. Despite wearing a gun for protection, her defense against the living dead was orbing. Something all angels were capable of and it came in handy. She tried to never use it around those who weren't Radicals because she didn't want to give away her ranking but sometimes it was necessary. Not that being an Angel had anything to do with being a Radical but it was just the way she thought. She knew she couldn't hide her identity forever. It's not like she wanted to but she was tired of hearing humans complain about the terrible job the Radicals were doing. She'd like to see some of the switch roles and see how much better they would do. She mocked some people know that most wouldn't stand a chance dealing with her job but with each day more were being recruited.
"Ah. Okay. Just trying to escape for the day?" Ali nodded as her long blonde locks hung over her gray tank. She offered a small grin to Geo as he mentioned the roles of the army. She knew what it was like to just want to get away and be alone. Dealing with the world ending was difficult and dealing with other power driven Radicals was exhausting. She was lucky she was positioned in Maine for her duties. Being able to explore around her home town was amazing. It was definitely far more evolutionized than two hundred years ago but there were still come great sites that were comforting in such a messed up world they were in. She found it quite soothing that the loud noises of cars and other normal daily distractions didn't ruin the peace of the world but that was because there wasn't much of it left. It was if earth was reaping away the bad and starting over but the trick was saving it first. It had been nine years since the apocalypse started and there had been little advancement of fixing it since then but Alison was convinced that it would happen. She knew it would happen.
Ali placed her thumbs into the loops of her pants as she kept her attention on Geo and the questions he asked. She knew eventually he would dig into her story. Who she was with. If she was there alone. How she came about this town. Just about her history and it was inevitable to avoid with every person she met but sometimes he liked to keep them guessing. "Yea for the most part. I don't have any family here." She answered with as little truth. She didn't have family but that had been true for centuries. It was just the way of life for an Angel and Ali was okay with that. For the most part she refrained from being close to people because she would never get old with them and then she end up being alone again. "How long are your troops staying here?" She retaliated with another question as she pushed open the door to the local bar. She figured it would be a good place for them to escape to.

Escape for the day, if he could he would escape for much longer, but he had friends here in his regiment and though his commanding officer was a prick he decided that he needed to be there if only for his companions. Someone had to act as a buffer between his sergeants stupidity and their young ears. They had some kids who were barely 20, someone with their head screwed on right had to stick around and look out for them. It probably didn't help that his best friend had been starting rumours that he liked little boys. Probably even worse that Darrea hadn't disputed it, simply winked at one of the privates. He had his head on right but that didn't mean that he didn't like screwing with people. "Thats one way to put it." he said with an easy smile, lifting his hands to clasp them behind his neck and looking to the sky. He seemed to relax more and more into the situation as they chatted.
He wasn't really trying to pry, simply ask casual questions that most people living in an apocalypse asked. You know the are you traveling alone, do you have any surviving family, have you been bitten and if you are you going to kill me and blah blah blah. Though it was hard to tell when he was prying, he kept on talking no matter what really. He would have been a good politician, he had always had a way with words. Though this girl seemed to be making it exceedingly difficult for him to talk. Why? Fuck if he knew. How long where they staying here? "Don't know honestly, we were supposed to clear the town of Mudo then move on, slowly make out way towards another group moving from another town but it's been months since we've heard anything from anyone." he said frowning. Who gave a crap if he wasn't supposed to tell her? Everyone should have the right to know.
He paused when she began pushing open the door to the bar and he gave her a sly smile. "Trying to get me drunk and take advantage of me are you? All you had to do was ask" he tsked before laughing and following her in, grabbing a bar stool and sitting down. "Five o'clock somewhere right?" he asked with a chuckle. He had been a bit of a redneck his whole life, never really the live on a farm and raise cows and stuff but he would have loved to do that after his term with the army was done. Even now he would love to be able to do that one day down the road when everything was dealt with. "I don't know about you but I'm drinking..." he said before ordering a mickey of tequila. It even had a scorpion floating at the bottom. He cracked the seal, took a swig then offered some to her.

"Well I guess there was a reason for staying then." Alison allowed a soft smirked form across her lips as she said this to him. She had been implying that if his troops had left when they were suppose to then they would have never met. Directly saying that would have been cliche and a bit too romantic for her taste. Sappy relationships just weren't her thing. Mainly due to the fact that she had been single for some time. Fooling around and having fun was more her style. It didn't complicate things and it didn't get in the way of her job. More importantly is saved her from going threw the emotions of love and then losing it because she was an angel. That didn't mean she didn't want it. Immortality was one flaw to her life and sometimes she wished it would go away. Ali had loved a guy or two in her life time and for the most part it was great. She would love to have those feelings back but it was complicated and easier just to stay away from the situation all together but that didn't stop her from looking or even touching a man from time to time.
Alison couldn't help but giggle at his comment. It wasn't funny because it would never happen. It was funny because the thought had actually crossed her mind. She wouldn't admit it of course. "I'll have to remember that for next time." She retaliated with a smirk across her face. She glanced around the bar that was only occupied with a few middle aged men with wandering eyes. Ali paid no attention to them and sat on a stool next to Geo. "I could use a drink too." As she contemplated her beverage of choice she was offered some of Geo's. "You're not suppose to drink the scorpion right?" She asked what was probably a stupid question as she took the bottle. She pressed the rim to her lips and took a sip. It was strong like any tequila drink would be but she didn't mind. Hard liquor was good but it got her drunk fast. "Not bad." Ali commented as she handed it back to him. She then turned to the bartender knowing what she wanted. "Can I get a Guinness please." She settled for beer. It was simple and not quick to get her wasted. Though she was sure Geo wouldn't mind. "So tell me how you came about the military? Did you have to leave family?" She was now prying into his business. She was such a hypocrite.
Alison's eyes averted to the setting around her and she took in the homey feeling the place had. It was definitely a nice place to retreat to when someone wanted to get away from the world. She had come to it many times before and was surprised the bartender never asked about her age. He had aged threw the years but he always kept to himself. Sometimes there were younger tenders who covered for him as well. Ali grinned when she saw the pool table and tapped Geo's shoulder, pointing in its direct. "Want to play." She was decent at the game and it was also fun to play.

((lol love these two already they really gotta do something about the sexual tension between them...))
Her words made him give her a quizzical look, not sure if she was implying what he thought she was implying or if she just said that because... Nope she meant what he thought she meant, that much was obvious from the smirk that turned up the corner of her lips in a cute way. He smiled and laughed with a wink but didn't respond, not quite sure what to say to that. Plus who had time to talk when there was drinking to be done. He liked her already, yes he liked her when he first saw her but then it had been just for looks. Now that he was getting to know her he was sure they could be the best of friends with benefits. He got a laugh out of her when he commented about taking advantage of him and that alone made him smile. She had a beautiful laugh. Ali agreed to keep his offer in mind but her words urged a reply from his lips. "Oh so theres already going to be a next time?" he asked with a wink, feeling the need to poke fun at her for assuming that he would want to hang out with her again. Well of course he did but he had to play it cool right? That was the guys job after all.
She took his offered drink and when she asked about the scorpion he actually laughed, watching her drink it. He remembered the first time he had tried tequila with the worm in it. He had asked the exact same thing when he had been handed the bottle. After that they had wrapped the bottle in a paper bag and started passing it around doing shots. Lucky him he had been the one to get the worm. That was the first time he had thrown up thanks to alcohol... "Swallowing the worm, or in this case the scorpion, is proof your a man.... It also gets you high apparently. Or just drunk really fast." he said with a grin before taking the bottle back and taking a swig himself. She ordered a Guinness and he tilted his head sideways, taking another swig before putting the bottle down. "I love that beer, but once you've been to England and had it fresh it just doesn't taste the same if you have it anywhere else" he said almost wistfully.
He'd probably get a little buzzed off this bottle if he paced himself but the scorpion would probably fuck him up. So depending on how much she drank they'd have to see. It wasn't very often when he let loose, you really couldn't risk walking home shit faced with flesh eating mudo out there. And then she was asking about the military and his family, he laughed slightly at this and turned to face the bar, leaning over his drink. "Well to sum it up, I have a twin sister, out parents split up when we were 15, my sister went with my mom, I with my dad. We were filthy rich and I had the image in my head that I would be like Achilles one day, viewed as a hero and all that crap. So off to the military I went. I only had my father really so it wasn't too bad." he said with an easy shrug. Well that was pretty much his life story without all the drama and shit that hit the fan when he was recalled from overseas.
Ali caught his attention by tapping his shoulder and pointing to the pool table, asking if he wanted to play. "That... i am entirely too sober for" he said before removing the cap and downing at least half the bottle in a matter of seconds. He'd feel that one. "That might just do it though. Okay lets do this, be gentle with me though" he said with a grin. But he stood, putting the cap back on the bottle and holding out a hand as an offer for her to use to get off the bar stool. Chivalry would never die as long as Darrea was around. Bowing, pulling out chairs, opening doors, kissing hands... There really was no end to his old fashioned ways but it seemed to work for him and his father had always taught him to treat a woman proper so he always would.

Alison had been enjoying their banter back and forth. She liked when a guy could take a joke and play along. It was a bit of a turn on in her case. Most men today were more concerned with surviving and took everything seriously. Needless to say, the world being run over by the living dead was a serious relationship but the blonde like to take it as simple change in life. The human race had been tested for centuries when it came to adapting life. Native Americans had to live life out in the wilderness every day as if they were camping. The technological revolution was also something old and new generations had to secure to come without choice. Now, the humans and paranormals of the world were faced with the an infectious disease. One that was more epidemic than the plague itself but that didn’t mean everyone couldn’t continue on with their lives. Those who weren’t effect and suffering still had to do something with themselves. Ali preferred not to live life in constant fear. Sure she had to be more aware and cautious when walking the streets but could continue on with every day life. Deo seemed to be the type who thought the same way. He was apart of the military and probably had the same seriousness level as she did when it came to being a Radical but when not on duty he could really kick back and enjoy himself.
“If you’re lucky that is.” Alison had no trouble with the game they played. It was quite enjoyable and kept things interesting between them. She rose an eyebrow, implying that he would have to play his cards right to see her again. He’d have to pull a full house to get lucky as well but Deo was well on his way to winning the hand. So far their time spent together had been quite entertaining. She didn’t find herself becoming bored or digging for something to say. Their conversations seemed to flow well despite their slow start. The whole time Ali could sense the chemical levels in the air, most of them came from her male company and they led her to believe he had a mixture of feelings towards the situation. Sexual attraction had been obvious when she first made her presence known earlier that day. Nerves possibly because he wasn’t sure how to react around her at first. And now ease because she wasn’t high maintenance as she looked. The blonde was pleased with the outcome of his offer and was enjoying every minute. “Well I’ll leave that scorpion for you.” She smirked softly at the knowledge of the drink he had. “And I will just have to go to England some day.” Ali took in his suggestion, knowing that getting to England wouldn’t be a problem for her. Finding it deserted was her main concern.
Alison sipped her beer and listened intently as Geo gave a short version of his life story. She ran a finger around the rim of her cup and watched him as he spoke. He seemed to at ease with his family situation and how they were split. At least it didn’t seem he had left too much behind when joining the military but she was curious if his father was still alive. She chose to keep her curiosity to herself, knowing it wasn’t her business. Talking about the past wasn’t always the best either. Sometimes it was difficult to recall upon past memories, depending on who you were. Instead, Ali felt a game of pool would keep up the heightened mood and took Geo’s hand when he offered it. “Thank you.” What girl didn’t love a polite man. “I can’t promise gentle though.” She smirked as she walked over to the pool table and began setting the balls. She lined them up, then grabbed a pole. “I’ll break.” Alison gestured and bent over the opposite side of the table. She aimed the cue ball and shot it towards the stack. She watched them scatter until one solid ball found a hole. “You’re stripes.” She pointed in his direction before taking another spot and missing.

He liked her, he knew that from when they had first started playing this little game of cat and mouse that they had going on. Just as she had been having issues finding someone who could take a joke so had Deo. She was right in the fact that he did have a serious side but only when danger was involved and that was a trait his staff sergeant didn’t appreciate much. But as he had mentioned to her before, there was no disciplinary committee, no court marshal so there really was no reason to play by the rules anymore. Maybe one day when everything got sorted out and there was some order back in the world he would have to fact the consequences to his actions but for now, what was there to stop him from drinking on the job and shooting some moaning dead guy? He had always had this side to him, but the lighthearted humorous side seemed to have only come out more since everything had gone to shit. Well highschool was fairly similar to now but that felt like a lifetime ago. It was hard to think back to those times, when he had dreamed of becoming the next president and changing the world. When his sister had dragged him away from his studies to get absolutely shit faced. Good times, what he wouldn’t give to see her at least one more time the way she had been before he had gone over seas.
Apparently he had to play his cards right if he wanted to see Alison again, but her statement didn’t bring out his pouty lips, no. Instead the corner of her mouth curled up in an easy smile, eyes narrowing slightly to give him a more daring look. ”I accept this challenge” he vocalized with a laugh, almost tempted to shake on it. He had never dealt with threats well but challenges he loved, he had always taken them seriously and made sure to make them as fun as possible. Now if only his sergeant understood that, then maybe they’d get much further with life. It was probably also why he usually tried to end up with the scorpion at the bottom of the bottle of tequila, not because it ‘proved him to be a man’ but more because it was a challenge. ”I don’t know if hallucinating during the zombie apocalypse is such a good idea...” he said, tilting his head with a grin. ”But then again it may also make things a lot more fun...” he mused. Who knew maybe the zombies would be dressed like clowns and a health bar would show up at the bottom of his vision. He couldn't remember the last time he had gotten high, he remembered that it had screwed him up pretty badly though. Thanks to his ever loving sister he had experimented with just about every drug out there, though weed was the only thing he had done more then once.
She said she might have to go to England and he shrugged before looking around. ”Not going to lie, coming to this place was a bit of a shock. Everywhere else I went before here didn’t have vehicles, bars, coffee shops or anything. It was just chaos... So no idea what England would be like now” he said with an easy shrug of his shoulders. She chose not to question him further on his family and he almost breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn’t the happiest topic for him and though if she had asked he would have shared it probably would have been a bit of a mood killer. She took his hand and he held it until she had both feet on the ground then he bowed his head slightly and watched her walk towards the pool table with the promise of no mercy. He drew his breath in sharply through his teeth before following. ”Take no prisoners attitude... I like it” he murmured to her as he walked behind her while she leaned down to gather the balls. "If were were the only ones here I would say we should be playing strip pool buuut..." he trailed off with a shrug and took another swig from the bottle.
She declared that she’d break and he took his own pool cue and leaned against the table, all the while watching her as she leaned over and sent the balls scattering over the table. He couldn’t help but let his eyes wander along her body as she moved and focused on the balls. He barely even noticed that she had told him he was stripes, too preoccupied with slowly sipping his tequila and watching her. But when she missed he did push himself off the table and do a slow walk around, putting his bottle in front of Alison before carrying on, studying the angles. In Iraq they had had the most badly maintained pool table in the history of forever but still everyone had played almost every night. But that had been over 9 years ago so he doubted he would remember much. All he could remember was that he got better the more he drank. ”Keep drinking you, I’m not the only one who’s going to be drunk by the end of this” he said with a wink before leaning down over the table and stretching out so he held his hand close to the white ball. A slight tap and he sunk one ball. He moved easily to the other side and repeated, though this time the white ball followed into the pocket. ”Good luck for you I suppose” he said, taking the white ball out and dropping it in her hand.

A challenge Alison could be. She was easy to get along with but those who expected something from her had to earn it. She was no push over and taking orders from someone wasn't her style. Unless of course it was another Radical. She especially didn't like to seem easy. Jumping in a bed with some stranger wasn't her intentions despite the lack in her sexual life. It seemed to be that many woman gave in with little hesitation, especially under such circumstances. The world was under distress and most weren't even sure they would survive. Sex seemed to be a security blanket in some strange way. Protection from the zombies wasn't plausible but protection from an emotional break down was acceptable. Something about this world had to be sain and what better than physical interactions. Ali didn't look for men for protection but for when. That didn't mean she slept around a lot but when man, such as Geo, came along then she'd make an acception. The blonde just wanted to feel something other than fear and worry. She wanted to feel passion and lust; excitement and joy. At least something that would take away from all the bad in the world.
"Yea I'm not so sure about that. You'd make yourself vulnerable to the zombies...as well as others. Wouldn't want someone taking advantage of that." Alison knew she was being bad with her comments. Her intention was very clear with every word she spoke but that was all part of the game. If he could with stand it then he would be lucky. Some men she ran into became irritated with the teasing and eventually gave up. That was no fun for her and no prize for them. While she joked about his safety while being heavily intoxicated or high, it was still very dangerous. She knew that both of them quickly jumped into drinking but she was hoping they would at least be slightly sober when leaving the bar. The sun would soon set and two drunk people in the streets at night would be a huge target. But why she was thinking about it was beyond her. The purpose here was to have fun. Not worry about how they would get home later. That would be of concern when the time came.
"Well let's not worry about the rest of the world tonight" Ali raised her glass to him and took a womanly gulp before hopping of the stool with his help. She left out a soft laugh as he spoke of strip poker. It sounded very thrilling. Something she probably would have enjoyed if they were the only ones around. As she thought about the idea, her cloudy blue eyes scanned the other men in the building and shook her head. "Though I doubt anyone else would mind." If she stripped it would probably be the only action they had seen in years. Ali didn't particularly want to be the one who fulfilled their desires. She wouldn't mind fullfilling Geo's though. "But we can come up with consequences for the loser.." She would leave the consequences open for him to come up with as well. "Or maybe a reward for the winner." She then added knew that he would take a nip at that bait she was laying out before him.
She stood at the side of the pool table as Geo took his turn. She shook her drink slightly in her hand and took another drink, proving to him that she would be under the influence as well. It had been awhile since Alison took the time to drink this much and she wondered how much her body would be able to handle. She was also curious as to how she would act. Her actions were unpredictable but with pharamones in the air she knew he resistance to him wouldn't last all night. "Luck provided by you of course." She wrapped her hand around the ball as stared at him with a smile on her face before placing the cue in position. She aimed and shot another solid into one pocket. She repositioned and made another. "Not looking too good for you." Ali ran her hand across his arm as she passed by but she spoke to soon, missing her next shot.

It was easy to say that Darrea was more then used to having his way with women. Long before everything went down hill his fathers money had attracted them like moths to a flame. In Iraq the few women who worked there seemed to be attracted to him because of that easy going ‘everything is alright’ attitude. Since the apocalypse he wasn’t sure what it was but women practically threw themselves at almost any man they saw. He hadn’t analyzed it, there was an old saying after all ‘don’t look a gift horse in the mouth’ and he had taken that and run with it. But he had to admit, having someone who was a challenge intrigued him and there was defiantly no lack of chemistry between them. Hell if she was feeling even half of what he felt between them they could probably set this whole place on fire. Not that he would ever share this. Had he known she could sense his emotions maybe he wouldn’t have worked to hard to keep a cool façade. It was rather had to carry on a normal conversation when all he wanted to do was rip her clothes off and lay her across the pool table.
Dear god the things he wanted to do to her... Obviously she felt similar at least a bit, the way she spoke sent chills down his spine and it was hard to resist not following that primal instinct. But as she suggested that someone might take advantage of him while high he once again raised his hand and shrugged. ”Like I said, if you want to take advantage of me you just have to ask” he pointed out with a playful wink. He had already said this but he felt the need to repeat himself now. He knew the type of guys she was thinking about, they were so similar to most of the women out there now a days. He had noticed that unless people had something to live for all morals seemed to be thrown out the window. He had a cause to live for; from the way she was acting there was a reason she was here as well. He could play the drunken army man but he was still just feeling the buzz. He wanted to know more about her. But maybe that was for their second date she had already promised him.
He nodded as she said that they shouldn’t worry about the rest of the world tonight. He had to agree, that was his job and right now he had a beautiful woman trying to get him drunk. There was no need to concern himself about work issues. He watched her as she laughed at his comment about strip pool, though it was one of those laughs that made him grin and tilt his head. She was considering it... He chuckled at her comment and shrugged. ”I know they wouldn’t mind you taking off your clothes, they might run when I take mine off though” he said with a wink. She carried on saying that they could come up with consequences for the loser or a reward for the winner. He smiled slyly up at her and tilted her head as if asking if she really wanted to go there. ”How about a simple wager. If I win you stay here with me until closing and we play a game of strip something after hours” he said easily. ”And if you win....?” he asked, arching an eyebrow.
She was drinking at least, he too hadn’t drank a lot in some time though it was obvious he could handle more then her if only due to body mass. He was also drinking hard liquor and she was having beer. Quite possibly they would end up the same amount of drunk by the end of the night. ”Hey! Are you accusing me of fixing this game?” he asked with fake shock as if that was the worst thing she could do was accuse him of cheating. He sighed as she sank another ball but when she said it wasn’t looking too good for him he cast a very obvious glance over her body and smiled. ”On the contrary, I think it’s looking very good for me” he said before taking the cue from her. He stretched out over the pool table again and took aim, ricocheting the cue ball off of one of the striped balls then into another sinking both. He took aim again and knocked a stripped ball into a cluster of solids with the intention of making her life harder. He straightened and gave her a devilish smile before leaning back against the table and taking another swig.

Alison smiled at his repeated offer but she kept her response to herself. Clearly their hormones were racing and both were equally attracted to one another. She was not surprised that he would easily offer himself up. Most men would. They were sexually driven and rarely gave up on an opportunity with a woman but she didn't blame them. Biologically, that was how their minds worked and it was natural for them. Ali appreciated his offer. It was definitely something she had been considering for most of the time spent with him but she liked to keep things exciting. Jumping the gun was too easy. Besides she was already enjoying the teasing and provoking game they were playing. It had been the most fun she had in awhile. Being a Radical, everything revolved around saving the world. Nothing could be taken lightly and a serious attitude was expected. Ali could follow the rules and had every intention of playing her role in finding the cure for the apocalypse but everyone needed a break. Even an Angel who was as dedicated as she was. Hell, the girl just wanted to have fun.
If it was one thing the blonde couldn't help it was keeping a smile planted across her lips. She was even laughing. A lot more than she had in a couple of months. Alison just couldn't help it. Deo's presence made her feel giddy inside. It was like high school all over again. Lusting over someone she knew would most likely move on with his life without her. That how it normally was. Very few teenage romances lasted past graduation. None of hers had and that was okay. All of the raging hormones and daring leaps taken with a guy made up for the goodbyes. "You get kudos for making me laugh this much." Ali admitted as the giggles continued. She could only imagine the middle aged men rushing out of the bar as her partner began removing his clothes. It was a sight that she wouldn't mind and an imagine that made her cheeks slightly rosy. Her body temperature was increasing, making the thin clothes she was wearing feel like she had been bundled up with fur coats. The sexual tension was almost unbearable but she tried to hold it together as they continued their game of pool. She was so distracted that she wasn't even sure who was winning.
Alison perked an eyebrow as he mentioned a wager. He nodded at the circumstances he had chosen if he were to win. Needless to say, she wasn't sure she could last that long. She was tempted to ask the owner to close down early due to the fact that he knew her and could trust her with closing up. The idea lingered in her mind but was focused on the circumstances if she won the pool game. "Hmm. Let's see.." She placed a finger against her puckered lips and she thought about this. "Okay. If I win you have to convince the bartender to close down early." Ali nodded softly, hopefully finding a solution to her predicament. She could only imagine the things he would do get the owner to hand over the keys. Another smile formed as she thought about it. This was all to exciting.
"Not accusing but thanking." She winked as she flipped some of her hair across her shoulder. "We'll we will see about that." Ali finished off her first beer as she watched him shot some balls. For a moment she excused herself and went to the bar to order another beer. She felt a buzz coming on, one that would be stronger after the second glass. She stepped back in front of the pool table, seeing it was her turn and leaned over the stick she held between her fingers. Some her long, blonde locks fell in front of her but it didn't deter her from dropping one ball into a hole. "You tried to make this difficult for me didn't you?" Alison smirked as she bumped him slightly. The only shot she had was right next to the nine ball and she didn't want to risk hitting it in. So instead she made a sacrifice and shot in some random direction, not hitting anything.

He didn’t know why but he almost wanted her to say no to him, to keep this banter going and to keep him on his toes. Though he knew if she did say no it would be all kinds of torture for him to not simply rip her clothes off. He was a gentleman above all else after all. Though that was one thing he had always wanted to try, ripping off a woman’s clothes. Something about it just seemed to primal and raw, one of those clubbing your woman over the head and dragging her back to your cave kind of things. Back to the good old days… Darrea almost chuckled at that thought but managed to mask it was a charming smile, flashing those pearly whites he had been born with. Okay yeah he used to get them whitened all the time. But now with almost none of the luxuries that used to stain teeth maintaining their whiteness had been easy. Though there was little he wouldn’t give for one more cup of amazing coffee and a hot shower. God just thinking of it sent shivers down his spine. Not to say he hadn’t showered in 9 years but working hot water tanks were hard to come by and he usually just bathed at the lake.
He was glad she had spent almost the whole night smiling, it was odd how he was making her smile but her smile was what was making him smile. God he wished he could stare at that forever. He couldn’t remember ever feeling this way about a girl. It was too early in the game to talk about love especially seeing as Deo had never believed in the word. Children of divorced parents often have that issue after all. But unlike all the other girls who he slept with then left he wanted to see more of her. And not just skin wise. She complimented him on being able to make her laugh and he hopped back, planting his feet, twirling his wrist then bending at the waist and placing his hand over his heart in an elegant bow. ”I’m glad I could be the one to make you laugh” he said with a sly smile as he lifted his head and looked at her, hidden promises lying in his eyes.
She considered his wager as he set to work on his turn and he watched her from the corner of his eye as she pondered this. She placed a finger to her lips and all he could think about was how she would feel pressed against his body, those lips against his. He really had to control those thoughts or things might get out of hand. She said her wager and he almost choked on the swig of tequila he was taking, though he managed to play it cool and mask it with a grin. When he put the bottle back down his eyes were dancing as he leaned forward with a smirk. ”I thought that was part of my wager…” he half purred, voice soft and husky with desire. He threw a glance towards the bar tender who was reading a book then back at her with a quirked eyebrow. ”Do we have to wait until the end of the game to get him to close the place down?” he asked easily.
He chuckled at her as she ‘thanked’ him for that little extra bit of luck he had started her with. She flipped her hair commented on what he was looking at but he refrained from commenting as he focused on the shot. Ali soon wandered off and returned a moment later with another glass of beer. He looked her up and down and grinned. ”Slam it” he said easily as he leaned against the edge of the pool table. ”You have a lot of catching up to do after all” he said, waving his almost empty bottle of tequila. It would probably take two more swigs minus the one with the scorpion to finish it. He was still debating if it was worth it for him to drink it. Maybe if she did in fact slam her beer then he would and then they would be even but if she didn’t he wasn’t sure just how much drunker he wanted to be. And depending on how long the creature had been in there he could still be fine or he could be hallucinating by the end of it all.
He studied her as she bent over the pool table and he couldn’t help but imagining her in that position sans clothing. Her voice was the only thing that drew him back from that fantasy and he grinned at her, winking playfully. ”Obviously it didn’t work” he said as she sunk one ball then chose to shoot the cue ball into never never land. He watched at she stood up and took a moment to study her again before taking his own position and bending over the table. He sunk the first easily, waited until the balls fell still then sunk a second. Just like falling off a bike… The third bounced off the edge and stopped a centimeter from the edge of the corner pocket. He rolled his eyes but grinned and stood up. ”Did you see that? I was robbed! Robbed I tell you!” he said with fake anger before laughing and once again taking his place on the edge of the pool table.

"You know...I haven't met anyone like you in quite some time." Alison admitted as she watched Deo bow. Who ever said chivalry was dead? Back in the eighteen hundreds she remembered men acting this way. All the ladies, including herself, would dress in gowns every day and wait for the men to apply their courting ways. It was so old fashioned and sneaking a kiss was considered scandalous. The blonde could remember the men that would try to win her over. She may not have had the wealthiest family in town but she hadn't been on the streets either. What Ali enjoyed the most back then was attending balls. Call it cliche but she was in deed a girl. A girl who use to love the riches with all the fancy dresses and jewelry. After about a century, she modernized with the rest of the world. She grew out of her innocent ways and dropped the old talk with nifty words. Being an Angel, there was no use living in the past. She had to accept her fate early on and realize there would be no real life for her. No real people involved. No family that would stay young with her. The reality bothered her at first but those feelings faded.
Deo reminded Alison a lot of the men she use to know back in the day. They men that she actually tried to have relationships with before they got wrinkles and gray hair. History books always made the eighteen hundreds seem boring but a lot of the time the blonde wished she could go back. She loved the way men treated her, with great respect and real interest. Now a day, a man who opened doors or followed their woman around was considered 'whipped'. Ali found it charming and when she saw her partner make small but meaningful gestures, she couldn't help but like him even more. At first it was all about the looks. The military man was gorgeous. He was very chiseled and well put together. What girl wouldn't notice all the muscle that were being hugged by his clothes? He was irrasistable in many ways but Ali knew how to control herself. The sexual attraction was undeniable but as she got to know, she felt for him on a personal level. He definitely would have won her heart over if he had been trying to court her back in the day. It was very possible he could win her over now.
"No, you said until closing and I know they don't lock up for another two hours." Ali gave him a devilish smile as she corrected his statement. The main purpose of her wager was to relieve herself of the first work. She may have been able to use her charming ways to get what she wanted but she figured she'd enjoy the site of Deo trying to convince the bartender himself. If he didn't succeed then she would simply step in and give it a try. "Well I would have to make up another wager if we didn't." Alison gave him a playful pout as she said this. She really wouldn't have minded either way. Though, she knew if they closed down now and there was no one else around, then their pool game would probably not get finished. She doubted Deo could hold back. Hell, she doubted herself as well. Who knows what would actually happen when they had they place to themselves.
When she returned from the bar with her new glass of beer, she took a few sips and looked at her partner as he egged her to down it. "If you say so." She smirked slightly as she placed the rim of the cup to her mouth and took slow chugs until she finished it all. She scrunched her face slightly as she composed her, definitely starting to fell the effects. "Well it doesn't take a whole lot to get me drunk anyways." She commented as she set the empty glass down on a near by table. Alison wasn't sure if she wanted to get another, so for the moment she held off. She probably shouldn't have admitted to how much of a light weight she was but her intention was to let lose. If she had been with any other guy then she might have made a mistake. She trusted Deo. Besides they both had the same intentions either way.
Ali placed a hand against the side of the pool table, in order to keep her balance as she watched him sunk two more balls. She couldn't be positive but she was under the impression that she was losing. She could have easily counted the balls, comparing solids and stripes, but she was a little too intoxicated for that. "I don't know about robbed. Cause you know in the end you'll end up getting a prize." She blurted out without thinking but easily moved on, trying to focus on the task at hand. She some how managed to sink two more balls. The fumbled on the third and simply shrug her shoulders. "You're turn." Ali said as she allowed her eyes to scan over Deo. She was very obvious about it.

((forced to do this on an iPad, forgive any auto corrected words and please point them out!))
He smiled slyly at her words and tilted his head easily to the side as if in thanks though he gave no other response. He had always made it his goal to be a memorable as possible. Apparently whatever he was doing was working for him so far.he had always loved the idea of the Victorian era, the mystery of it all and the scandal. Though he liked this era if only due to the ease of getting laid but it did get old after a while, at least to him. He had always thrived when challenged so when women said no to him the intrigue just grew. The whole idea of sneaking a kiss in the coat room or sneaking off into the night together was fascinating. It was odd, being a boy who had been given no boundaries or limits as a child he had kind of set his own instead of turning into a complete brat. Then again he had always held a particular air of arrogance, as if he knew he was going to get his way. That had really the only thing that had ever made him any enemies. So yes, he liked this era but when he fantasized he thought of the victorian era and all of its wonders. Dreaming of the multiple shirts women's dresses used to have and corsets and long hair strung up with pearls.
She corrected him on his wording and he shook his fist playfully at her as if annoyed that she had called his bluff but laughed anyways and raised his shoulders in an easy shrug. "I didn't specify when closing would be.. But fine, you win" he said with an exasperated sigh. She pondered his offer to let him ask the man to close up early and leave his keys with him. But then she slyly said that she'd have to think of another wager if she didn't in fact let him close up early. "Touche" he said with a slow nod. Couldn't have her thinking so hard right? Plus he was rather enjoying their banter and the pool game seeing as he hadn't played in almost nine years. He knew they wouldn't finish the game if they asked the bar tender to close up now. But he already knew that the game would be over next round, that much he would be sure of. He reached down and touched the walkie talkie in his pant pocket as if to just make sure that it was still there.
She took his challenge to finnish of her drink and downed it in a few gulps. he almost winced, she wold defiantly feel that one. She shared that it didn't take much to get her drunk and he chuckled. "Between you me and the fence post, it doesn't take much for me either, this should about do it..." he shared, once again raising his bottle of liquor. She placed her bottle down and for a moment it looked like she was going to go for another but thought better of it. He was enjoying how easy it was to talk to her. Though alcohol did loosen lips he didn't pry about her life still. He was too much of a gentleman to do that after all, a fact he was proud of. But he wanted to know more about her, so hopefully she would want to see him again and next time maybe they could indulge in coffee or some food instead of alcohol. Not that this wasn't fun of course.
He had one more ball to sink then the 8 ball. Though if he finished his drink while Ali shot he wasn't sure if he'd be able to focus well. Hopefully that scorpion hadn't been in there too long or he'd be way too fucked up to leave this place tonight. But her words brought that sly half smile to his face and he tilted his head. "Is that so?" he asked almost teasingly before taking two more gulps of his tequila. The last had the scorpion and he almost made a face as he held it before his eyes and studied it. It wasn't big, it probably could have fit in the cap if you curled it's tail up but the legs... He had eaten scorpion before, the legs were the worst part. Then tended to get stuck in your teeth is you tried to chew them.
Darrea raised the bottle to her with a shrug then downed it. He had to concentrate to put the lid back on and place the bottle on the ground. The scorpion hadn't hit him yet but drinking everything so fast defiantly had. Deo's eyes followed her every movement as she leaned over and balanced herself then sunk two balls with no trouble though she fumbled the third. She didn't seem to mind and she raised her shoulder. He lifted himself off the table again she she proclaimed that it was his turn. "If I finish this game right now you have to get him to close down the bar early though" he said, pointing the pool cue at her with a wink. Somehow he managed to still appear sober. he had always been more of a mind drunk after all.
But he leaned over the table, took aim and sunk his last ball that had landed just on the edge of the pocket with no trouble. Walking half way around table he took aim at the 8 ball and winked at her as she saw her eyes taking their time with his body as his had done to hers so many time before. He sunk that ball as well then stood and grinned. "So, that means your staying with me after hours and we're playing strip something. I'll let you name the game" he offered though all he really wanted to do at this point was strip her. If she didn't end up closing the bar down then he had his ways of making it happen. Being in the military there was always a back up plan after all.

"It's our little secret." Ali smirked as she brushed a finger across her lips in windshield whipping manner. Drinking what he had been, she wouldn't have been surprised how wasted Deo got. She had tasted thesweet temptation and knew it was deadly. Two shots of that and she would have been as drunk as she already was. She really contemplated another beer. She could have laid another one down but she choose not to for two reasons. One because she felt it was unladylike. A girl who could hold her own surprisingly was a turn on for most guys but she had more pride in herself for that. And two because she wanted to at least remember some of the night. So far her memory hadn't started fading but the alcohol was pulsing threw her veins fast. If she was going to allow herself to let loose and take a chance then she wanted to be aware of her decision. A girl had to have more dignity than that. Deo wasn't just some guy to mess around with either. Clearly they had connections other than just sexually and maybe this time she would allow herself to get to know the guy.
While Ali could keep secrets like no other, she also had a bad habit of telling it how it was. She was blunt in many ways and wasn't afraid to express her opinion. As for her job, it wasn't a bad trait to have. While she may not have been the highest ranked Radical, her opinion still mattered and for someone who had lived for over two hundred years she had a lot to say. Clearly that was the case while intoxicated as well. Vocal or not, she still had a way of playing out her words. She was very organized and sly. She knew how to talk the talk. She knew how to back up a lot of what she said as well but as the night continued on Alison was simply speaking without thinking. At least she felt comfortable enough with Deo not to care. The at ease feeling she got with him wasn't just because of the alcohol but his personable characteristics. She loved his old fashioned way mixed with modern times. It was very attractive and that much harder to resist him. She knew he had good intentions behind it all as well.
As she missed what was very much he last shot in the game, Ali shook her head as she composed herself. She help in to the side of the pool table for balance. Her finger tips dung into the green felt as she watched him take his last two shots, sinking the eight ball at the end. "You win." She stated the obvious as he placed her pole across she table and stared at him with a big grin across her face. Despite being slightly competitive, there was no way she could be made. He won fair and square. Maybe she wasn't as good as pool as she had expected. "Who says we have to play a game?" She winked at him playfully but all too seriously with every word. Alison owned up to her loss and headed over to the bar where she sparked up a conversation with the tender. She kept quite so she didn't give away her angelic secrets and let out a few soft giggles. She watched the older man call it wraps to the rest of the customers and then turned to face Deo. She placed her slender, hourglass figure against the bar as she twirled the keys around one finger. "Now who exactly won?" The blonde bantered as she stood her ground, waiting for him to make the next move.
(sorry this took forever and if there are errors im sorry again.)
