33. HUMAN. CHRISTIAN KANE. STRAIGHT. LONER. BAD-ASS.
personality:
Elliot is what can only be described as the typical tough Texan, born in Victoria, Texas, he learned from a young age that the tougher you were, the quicker you got things done, and this is a mantra he still upholds to this day, as a 33 year old father of one (He doesn’t actually know he’s a father yet, this will be for a later plot if that is cool). To say he ain’t the laid back type a’ fella would be an understatement, as he’s always on edge, mostly caused because of watching his alcoholic father regularly beat and rape his mother whenever the drink took him. However, he promised himself at the age of 15, that there was no way he was ever going to turn into his father, and he set off for Austin at that very age, stealing his father’s car and vowing to never stop unless he absolutely needed to. He never intended to leave his mother defenceless against his father, but, he just couldn’t put up with seeing it any further. His mother ended up dying three years after that, and his father followed two years after her, a car crash costing his life after one too many tequila shots.
In the years between his leaving, and both of his parents deaths, Elliot became exactly what he promised himself, the exact opposite of his father. He in fact had became quite the upstanding citizen, holding down a job bouncing one of the local bars, and, in a move unknown for him, he had held down a relationship with a beautiful young lady who he absolutely doted on, the two of them sharing a little apartment on the edge of town, and her working as a stripper, yeah, it wasn’t his choice of what she should be doing, but, he grinned and bore it, all on the strength that he loved her, and would never leave her like he did with his mother.
However, his whole world came tumbling down when, at a ripe nineteen years of age he found out that she was cheating on him with one of the patrons of the club she was working at, and no matter how much begging and pleading with him, Elliot wasn’t the type to play the fool, and he left, again, the departing beginning to become a regular act with him, and his status now firmly known among his small circle of friends, of being a drifter.
At 20, and once again alone in the world, Elliot began to shrink further and further into his own world, vowing never to let anyone in, and thus, he began travelling around, never choosing to stay in one place for too long if he could help it, and thus, it lead to, 13 years later, his arrival in Cemetery Gates, Maine, desperate to make amends and finally change his ways.
Likes: Country/Rock music, women, sex, violence.
Dislikes: Justin Bieber, rap music, men who hit women, rapists.
((Hope this is OK, I’m no good at the new fangled free form apps LMAO))
and the rest of it:
It didn’t take too long for Elliot to realise that something wasn’t quite right with Cemetery Gates after taking a trip down the convenience store to get a morning beer, and looking out onto a desolate main road, the cars deserted for the most part, but, no actual human presence whatsoever. It was of course, when he went into the store to have one of the sales assistants leap out on him, trying to chow down on his arm, that he realised just how wrong Cemetery Gates was, and the sales assistant found out the hard way not to mess with Elliot, no matter what you were, as it was knocked down with a fist, before taking a kick to the head, incapacitating it.
To be honest, if you ask him what he thinks, and how he feels about the vaccine going wrong, the truthful answer is, he doesn’t care, as long as he survives, however, this may all change with the advent of the plot I spoke of earlier in parentheses.
