Possible Plots;

AJ, having been taken from her family at a young age and put in a strange place, is somewhat desperate for a companion. she meets [ character] and is sort of like a reluctant friend.

AJ reminds [character] of someone, but she feels that she would do more harm to that person then help because there are moments when she can't control her abilities, but they insist on sticking together.

AJ and [character] happen to find some kind of resource, i.e. firearms, food, and whilst arguing about it, they end up being ambushed by animaters and have to work together to survive, even though they don't totally trust each other, they can see that the other has an ability that would be useful in fighting and, they make a truce and decide to stick together.

AJ and [character] knew each other before the apocalypse, and the relationship was not at all good. AJ or [character] end up having to save the other and somehow work out their differences.
