Nathaniel really didn't know his mother and father, people would say that they died in a car accident but Nathaniel was always determined to find them. He hates that he was in this mess but he also likes that it was a place were he could think to himself. At first he stayed with a guy named Straggle. He was almost like the leader of Nathaniel and the kids that grew up with. One day Straggle was caught by the police and he was never seen again. After that all the kids were being picked of the group one by one. The first to go was Jack. He was shot because he bumped into a gang on the bad side of town. Then it was Crums. Crums is a large boy and wasn't the greatest at swimming so when it came to swimming across a lake, he drowned. And last was Joshua. He told Nathaniel that he found a home with someone, the next day he was in the news paper as the boy that was murders and dumped on the front steps of an orphanage. The last boy that was with Nathaniel was Billy. Billy wasn't the smartest but if it wasn't for him, Nathaniel would be sitting in a box under ground. So the last two left were Billy and Nathaniel.and the rest of it:
Billy came back one day to Nathaniel with the paper. The front cover said that the devil's minions have found the door. Billy wouldn't stop freaking out. Nathaniel thought for a few moments. Nathaniel got up and told Billy to follow him. Both of them walked into a shop with weapons all over the walls. Billy took the python and started to shoot the target. Head shot every time. Nathaniel had another weapon on his mind. He walked to a stand with two knifes that were unusually long. The Handles were blue with a silver dragon on both wrapped around it.
