Was yesterday……
It’s 2016, and World War 3 is in full swing. In a world where tensions have built up, and the fears and other repercussions of terrorist attacks have taken hold of its inhabitants. With gunmen raiding suburbia, juggernauts waltzing through the cities, and soldiers setting up bases and weapon banks in the country side, with subs in the water and gunships in the air, no place is safe.
Betrayal is in the air, and the men of the disavowed Task Force 141 are out to find those responsible for this senseless blood bath. Shepherd is dead at the hands of Captain MacTavish, and so he and Price are being hunted like dogs while the general is laid to rest like some hero. Makarov is working to keep up the violence, and he is the primary target of the team, but the duo of captains have no chance of taking him down on their own. People from both of their pasts come to light in their need to achieve justice and clear their names, from allies like Ghost, who really does seem to have returned from the dead, and Sandman, to the countless enemies they’ve made along the way. They’ve also picked up a few of both along the active time of the 141 that never received their piece of the story…. Until now.
After all, history is written by the victor.
