Robert Derek Webber The days have grown longer for the doctor. The news of half of the people have changed into monster after the vaccine, the VACCINE he gave to people that day. Even though it have been five years since that day have happed. Still the doctor blames himself, his happy content self haven't been seen for another two years. He haven't practice medication for while now, afraid that he would do the same mistake again. Wearing his black jacket and black shirt, with black jeans he wasn't dressed to work.
Walking along the park with his hot cup of the coffee. The weather wasn't very nice and he wore sunglasses to avoid people finding out that he who he was. He didn't want any company, feeling he doesn't deserve it. There were kids playing in the park while he sat on the bench. The clouds were beginning to form some more, and it was raining. He welcomed the rain as he didn't care about it. Watching the people running away.
His body was soaked right through now, and his hair was dripping as he sat still in the rain. Drinking his coffee some more until he was empty and he threw it in the bin. I shouldn't have vaccinated those people. There were children, children he thought, as he heard footsteps coming towards him. Rain water was dropping from his face, as he looked up, to see who it was, as he wasn't expecting anyone to keep him company at all.

((dun dun dun dun and apparently the apocolypse happened 9 years ago, or at least thats what I've been told ))
Most people didn't like rainy days, but then again it was almost an insult to call Deo most people. He had gone to the park today heavily armed and dressed in his miliarty wear, boots and ACU though his jacket was undone, revelaing the form fitting white t-shirt underneath. Had to have something for the ladies right? His M9 pistol was in his holster at his hip along with the pokects along the belt filled with extra rounds for it and the M16 rifle slung across his back. His K-Bar standard issue knife was strapped against his ankle as always, hidden from the world. All in all he looked like a typical army grunt other then the katana strapped to his hip. It was nice to have something you could do damage with that wouldn't draw a swarm of Mudo to the sound it caused when blowing off one of their heads. He had always wondered why they weren't allowed silencers and had once asked his commanding officer only to get the answer that they weren't 'standard issue'. The answer had made Darrea laugh humourlessly and tell him exactly where to stick his standard issue.
He walked easily through the park, the Mudo moaning somewhere near by so his hand rested easily on his blade though his other hand held and umbrella above his head. Most people didn't dare wander around here. At least not the civilians... Hence why Deo paused mid stride, planted his half raised foot beside the other and squinted. Someone was walking his way... Was he alive? Darrea was about to call out to him but thought better of it, instead tightened his grip on his sword. But the firgure threw something in the trash and Deo smirked. He very much doubted that Mudo were concerned with littering. But still it was a civillian in a place infested with Mudo so Deo set off towards him, new purpouse to his stride. They had gotten new boots since the end of the world, ones with a softer material so there wasn't so much thudding as he walked. A bit better for stealth but that was really the only change the US Army had had since coming back from Iraq.
As he got closer he had to squint again, he was sure he recognized that ugly mug... He continued forward at a slowed pace, still studying the soaking guy. He was looking down, obviously troubled by something but at soon as he looked up the grin that split across Darrea's face was obvious. "Long time no see man, the years have not been kind to you" he said with an easy laugh. It was obvious he hadn't changed at all. He stopped in front of Robert, allowing his to share the cover of the umbrella as he smiled and looked his old friend over. If Robert had been trying to hide his identity from the world with those sunglasses if obviously hadn't been very effective. "How have you been Rob?" he asked, hand still on his sword but stance easy and friendly. "Oh and you know you shouldn't be here right?" he asked, frowning. He knew Robert wasn't from here and wanted to know how he had found his way here but kept his bombardment of questions to a minimum for now.

Robert Derek Webber The rain wasn't much trouble. The world have changed and people were restricted that they weren't allowed to go places freely anymore. All he wanted was to be left alone and have some time to himself. The past still haunted him and the flashbacks come back over and over again. 'The world was changing. Dark mysterious town was being infected with skin riddled zombies. It was like a horror movie but the effects were real. Children were screaming, babies were crying as they parents were killed like unwanted piece of garbage.' He could never forget the screams or the gun shots. That was long time ago even though the memories weren't never fade away.
Suddenly someone came nearer him and he looked up. It was his best friend he was in college with. Even though he was as happy then. The guilt was ruining his life right now. "Long time no see man, the years have not been kind to you", playing with his fingers some more. If he have seen what he have and been responsible for the murder of thousands of people, then it would changed you. Robert was about to say something when he asked him another question. God what is this, one thousand question show?, he thought and kept looking at the floor.
"Not too good honestly Deo." He spoke back in a sad like tone, which is another characteristic was him, not the real him anyway. "God man Deo I only come for some fresh air and to think some things. I am not doing harm. If you are going to arrested me then just do it already. I don't care anymore, not after killing all those people." He snapped a little and his Irish accent was really strong now and he waited to see what his friend would do now, and that he would arrest him, even though they were best friends long time ago.

((bare with me, I'm having to use an iPad to post and it's kinda tripping me out...))
It had been a long time, that much was for sure. Darrea was quite surprised that he even recognized his old friend anymore. It was obvious that time had not been kind to Robert but Deo didn't even know if his friend had finished his med degree never mind that he had been one of the doctors to administer the drug. Had he known that maybe he would have toned down the cheerfulness just a bit... But then again probably not. Darrea had always been a glass half full, living in the now kind of guy even since the world had ended. He probably wasn't the best type of person for Robert to be around at this point in his life as well... But then again, who knew? Maybe a good dose of fun and cheer would be exactly what he needed. But that obviously was not what Robert was thinking as Darrea played 20 questions with himself pretty much, kind of feeling like he was talking to a wall. But then again Deo had been known to do that on occasion as well...
Roberts eyes were on the ground and Darrea resisted the urge to bend over and force his old friend to look at him. Rob finally spoke and his words were solemn and detached, jut hearing them sent shivers down Deo's spine. But then he exploded after Deo said he shouldn't be here and immediately Deo's hands went up as if to surrender and show that he meant no harm but still Rob fired more words at him, daring Deo to arrest him. "I didn't say you couldn't be here many, just that you shouldn't" he said with extra emphasis on that last word. Though as he processed Rob's words further he frowned. She he had become a doctor after all and he had administered this drug. Well who was he helping by sitting around moping. "I just meant to say that this place is practically over run withi Mudo, wouldn't want you dead now would we?" he tried to say in a both cheerful and gentle voice though it came out more uncertain then anything.
He shifted almost awkwardly, not quite sure what to say to his friend. Darrea had always had a way with words, hence the wanting to be a politician and studying political science and global economics. But for some reason he couldn't find a few skins words when his friend was so clearly in pain. "You've probably heard this a million times but it's not your fault... With or without you this would have happened. All that matters now is what are you going to do about it? You've lived this long... Are you looking for a cure?"he asked. He didn't know why but suddenly there seemed to be a million questions at a time to ask. What was he living for, was there anything worth fighting for, where his parents alive? He realized that Robert had also gone to college with his sister. They had probably finished college together actually though she had been studying to be a therapist. Some small part of him wanted to snap back and shout that he was hurting to but he still at least faked the brave face he wore.

Robert Derek Webber Rain continue to fall and a loud thundering noise could be heard showing there was a storm coming. His hair was scruffy which wasn't like him at all, normally he would shave every week, but he didn't bothered and his facial hairs now. Who would want to date a murderer anyway, even though his ex wife was most properly dead now. His friend didn't bother to move out of the way, or to the point leave him alone. The park was properly dangerous and something about death came out. He grinned treasurerly "I don't really care if they killed me or not. I mean I gave them the vaccine. I was responsible for killing those innconted people! It was still my fault!" He yelled out and got up, and punching a nearer by tree. Aggressiveness wasn't in his blood, but when he is really down and hurt he can have a nasty temper.
Hearing Deo some more, it was beginning to get on his nerves. Then he asked what he was going to do about it. Slowly turning around he looked at him. "Listen, friend. I am not a doctor anymore, I given it up since the outbreak broke out. The world is miserable cause of us. Yes we were instrusted to vaccinated those people, but I could have said 'no'. I am not doing anything, there wouldn't be a cure. Would you trust a doctor who was responsible for teh first attack to vaccinated you again? Come on be serious? The answer would be no, I know it would. So no there is no cure from me and it never will be", he snapped lot more.
Pulling out his pills which were for his PSTD and to calm him down. But even now he was taking to many of them and was getting addicted to them. Clenching his fist up he growled at Deo. "Quit making fun and staring at me! You wanna fight about it? Then come on then big shot!" He yelled out, and went towards him, to lash his fist into his face hard to punch him. This behaviour was out of order for him, as the gentle and passionated Robert was locked deep inside and needed to come again, before it's too late.

Had this been some random guy Deo had met on the streets he would have long ago left the scene without a word. The military man had very little patience for self pity parties. Yeah he was a glass half full kind of guy but it was hard to be that way when the whole world was going to shit around you. Though he had managed to maintain his upbeat personality since everything had happened his patience for peoples shit had deminished to almost nothing. He wasn't a confruntational man by nature, for that reason the army probably hadn't been the best place for him but he had wanted to be remembered as someone great. Maybe come back from the war and become the next president. Those had been his dreams before everything... He almost chuckled, maybe they should call this World War Z...
Robert was saying something but deo wasn't really listening, the only thing that caught his attention was Robert turning around suddenly and punching a nearby tree as hard as he could. And suddenly all of Darrea's attention was on his old friend. He had never been violent in his life, what was wrong? maybe he should have been listening... Robert ranted on about how there was no cure and Darrea's eyes narrowed. Yeah there was no cure but there was still hope and that was really all anyone ever needed. Deo resisted the urge to grab Robert by the collar and slam him against the tree to knock some sense into him but instead he folded his umbrella and rested it against the tree beside him. Luckily the rain wasn't especially cold.
Robert pulled out a bottle of pills and Darrea narrowed his eyes, were those what were making him crazy? Had he becoem a drug addict after everything. And then Robert was shouting at him again, trying to egg Deo on. And then Robert was stepping forward at the same time Deo was dropping to a knee. Roberts hand over shot and Roberts body followed as Darrea bent his elbow and moved to drive his fist up into Roberts stomach. Yeah Robert was made but darrea had been trained for fight since he had left college.

Robert Derek Webber Robert was rarely violent. This type of behaviour was really out of character for him. He couldn't dodge Deo's attacks back and took a hit right into his torso. This really winded him out and coughed aggressively, certainly it stopped him going for his friend, that's for sure. Sitting down on the wet grass, trying to catch his breath. Why did I listen to my gut feeling and not give the vaccine to those people. I killed many children and women. It was my fault, he thought as a lonely tear fell down, as he heard some rustling in the bushes, showing the company they were about to receive weren't going to be friendly. He looked at the bushes some more, and slowly got up, holding onto his body for stupport as he did hurt which was normal for him, and he couldn't care less, it wasn't like the first time he have been beaten up or anything.
His green eyes weren't bright anymore, but instead full of pain. "I have given up on everything Deo, what I believe in. How can there be a cure on what we have done? Who would trust us? You were suppose to believe in your doctor and believe they are doing were right. How can that be brought back?" He asked him, wondered he would have some of the answer. "People are blaming us doctors for the vaccine Deo. I maybe not the blame or at fault, but that's not what the people think. To them I am a murderer who have taken they periocus little daughter away or taken they love one away. So how do you think that makes me feel?" He asked him looking at him this time, instead of the floor, as the bushes were rustling some more.
Running is all he have done since the Racials have managed to captured him, and used him as a slave for their people. Using him to bandage them up, or even stitched wounds etc. His life was horrible since he have escaped and wished that he just stayed there, at least he was still helping the people who were changing still. "You didn't take the vaccine have you?" He asked him really worried, as he finally got back to his feet this time. "I just don't know what to do anymore Deo, everything as changed and I just can't fight it anymore" he simple admitted and stroked his face which was in a horrible state, as he looked at Deo, wonder what he say and do this time, as the danger was moving in closer and closer.

His punch connected solidly, giving the desired effect of winding his friend but doing little to no damage. He might have a bruise there later but that would probably be it. He remembered doing that in the training yard and giggling like a school girl the first time he got to punch someone. He had never fought before in his life, preferring to protect his pretty face instead. But once he join the army he had loved it. He was also very good at it so there was rarely any risk of getting hurt. Robert sat where he fell though Deo didn't notice the tear, the rain masked that fairly well. The military man stood slowly and collected his umbrella though he didn't bother opening it seeing as he was soaked. His ACU was made of a thin material that dried fast so he didn't worry about it much. His guns were also made to work fine in the harshest conditions. He kind of wished he had brought his FN P90 today, the rifle was getting a bit heavy on his shoulder...
Darrea remained silent as his friend spoke, tilting his head and listening with a rather bored expression. But he didn't walk away, nor did he interrupt or punch his friend again. Yeah he was a bit pissed off that Robert was in this self pitying state but he could kind of see where he was coming from. "You may have killed their precious daughter but I've killed mothers, sons, fathers, husbands... Thats my profession so sorry, but I'm used to being called a murderer." he said with an easy smile. His fist kill over seas had been a young boy with a gun. It had haunted him for some time but after a while it went away. Some people remained haunted by their kills but Deo's upbeat attitude had only taken the blow for a few months.
Finally he sat beside his friend and laughed, dragging a hand through his own hair. "We do it because we believe we're making the world a better place, because we are told we're helping people. You may begin by thinking you can't do it but then you start and that rush you get, even if its morally wrong, when you are thanked by someone makes it all worth it." he said though it wasn't apparently if he was talking about Robert's profession or his own. He was looking up at the pouring sky almost dreamily as if transported back to another time. "Like absolute shit I'm sure but everyone needs someone to blame. They didn't just blame the doctors, also the pharmaceutical company that turned it out and the goverment." he said with a quirked eyebrow.
Robert aske Deo if he had taken the vaccine and he raised an eyebrow. "Have you heard of the people who are immune? Who took the vaccine but didn't die? They're calling them Sempi Pai" he said thoughtfully. There was a short pause before Darrea shook his head. "No, it was required for all troops to get it when the first shipment of the drug was sceduled to get to us about a month after everyone else got it but we were recalled long before then so no one fighting over seas got it." he said with a shrug. Robert told him that he didn't know what to do and slowly Darrea drew a knee to his chest and leaned into it. He opened the umbrella, not enjoying the feeling of water dripping down his back and he covered them both. "Strop crying about it and do something. No one believes theres a cure but a lot of doctors are searching for one anyways, it gives them a purpose. Without a purpose then theres no reason to live..." he said softly as if speaking from personal experiance.

Robert Derek Webber After getting the awful aggressive attuide out of his body he began to feel lot better. He saw his friend sitting beside him, it was really funny, sitting on the grass in the pouring rain. Slowly Robert began to turn the frown into a smile, and started laughing. He was soaked through though, as he remembered what happened to between them in college. Placing his hand onto Deo, showing his friendship was strong and smiled, glad to have his company now. "I guess I didn't learn my lesson from the last time you beated me. I should have learn not to make that same mistake around you" he spoke lot more normal this time. Deo managed to knock some sense into him which was a good thing really and he looked at him some more, still curious how he managed it. "How did you managed to get me to see sense? No one else have managed to do that" he asked him being really curious now.
Finally the rain have stopped and he pressed his head firmly against the tree. He wondered his other friend from medical school was still alive now, he haven't spoken to her for almost eleven years now. His heart always skips the beat when he sees her, but he have always coward out before talking to her. "So have you met anyone then Deo? Settled down, had a family?" He asked him as he was just bringing up a conversation. "Not everyone died when the vaccine was given? Some of them survived it, but how?" He was really shocked and relieved that not everyone have died during that awful year.
Slowly standing up his clothes were soaking wet. Robert have always hated being stuck in soaked through clothing. He slowly took his chest off, didn't care who he was with. His muscles were sexy and hot. It would turn anyone on, who would love to touch them, nuts. "Have you got a razor on you by any chance Deo? I can't fine mind" he asked him, he wanted to shave his facial hairs back down, so it wouldn't look horrible now. "I just don't know I could trust myself to find a cure my loyal friend. I have to be certain that it safe, not like the vaccine" he admitted and smiled looking at him again. "Have you seen a guy topless before?" He tease Deo, as he smiled and looked at his friend. "Anyway we should meet up again Deo. I have missed you so much. Want to go for a coffee? It's getting pretty chilly here do you think?" He asked.
As he was waiting for his answer, until something hit him on the head. A small pebble was on the floor now and the bushes were moving aggressively again. Before he had time to react, something tackled him on the ground and started to cut into his chest. Robert was using his strength he had to fight back, though he was scared he was going to be killed right here. Right now, death which he didn't want.

((gonna pretend my lovely zombie werewolf Ashlee attacked you hope you dont mind!))
Darrea wasn't so suprised by Robert placing his hand on his shoulder, that flash of rage gone. Even before military training Darrea had been coordinated enough to hold his own in a fight. Deo laughed humourlessly as his friend commented on the last brawl they had gotten in. That had been a lifetime ago... Robert asked him how he had managed to knock some sense into his friend but he simply lifted his shoulders, not sure how to respond. Generally when something wasn't working properly you hit it and suddenly it worked properly. He remembered that the dome light in their vehicle over seas hadn't worked for a long time due to a faulty wire, it had worked fine if you punched it hard enough and in the right spot. Sometimes it took a few tries but eventually a good beating made it work as well as it had before.
The rain stopped and Darrea placed the umbrella on the grass beside them now, scooting a way a bit so he could have his own tree to press his back up against. Had he met anyone, Darrea smiled sadly and looked at the ground, taking a moment to respond. "No... After I came back from over seas I went to find my father but he had killed himself. He had been bitten, he knew what would happen to him... I tracked down my mom and Viv as well, they had turned. I killed them both. After that I went back to the army, been clearing out towns ever since. Its not really a good time for relationships anyways..." he said with a small smile.
He wondered if Robert remembered Darrea's twin. They must have hung out together a few times in college but were as Darrea and Robert had met in the library and studied together his twin had always been a partier. She much have dragged Robert out with them a few times. If not he had at least mentioned her. The mention of the immune seemed to really catch Robert's interest and Darrea tilted his head as Robert shot out a few questions but all Darrea could do was raise his shoulders. The military didn't take well to that group and was often ordered to kill them due to the fact they were 'contaminated'. Not that Darrea would share any of this information with his friend.
And then Robert was stripping and Darrea tilted his head, sudden flashbacks of his highschool crush Jacob coming back. But he had a strict rule not to screw around with friends, especially male friends. Robert asked if he had a razor and Deo shook his head. He didn't grow facial hair easily so it was rare that he had to shave. Robert teased him about not seeing a guy topless before and Darrea honestly laughed, shaking his head and grinning at his friend. Robert suggest coffee and Darrea stood, coffee sounded absolutly magical right about now. "I'd love to get some coffee" Deo said with a smile, he bent down to grab his umbrella and as he was straightening to close it movement in the bushes made his hand immediatly go to his katana.
Suddenly there was what seemed to be an explosion of leaves as something tan colored and almost as big as the both of them plowed into Robert. This was the first time Darrea ever froze in his life. Jaws snapped at Robert's face though Rob had his arm pressed against the giant wolf's throat. Claws tore at Rob's chest as it fought to get at him, to kill him. Something about those eyes... The putrifying bite mark on it's ribs. Seriously? A zombie wolf? One big mother fucking zombie wolf? It was only a seconds or two that Darrea froze before he lunged, throwing his whole weight against the creature. He didn't know if you could be infected through a scratch but if not he knew that if he shot the creature while it was on top of Rob and it's blood got on those wounds he was as good as gone.
They grapled a moment, the k-bar knife attached to Darrea's ankle comming out. Blackish sludge fell from the slashes to the creatures throat and chest and bright red blood falling from the claw marks Darrea sustained on his shoulders and arms as it fought to draw him closer to those deadly teeth. It didn't drop, instead hopped back, snarling before darting into the woods, that blackish slime leaving a trail behind it. Darrea remained crouched for a moment to make sure it wasn't coming back before wiping the knife off and sheating it. Jogging to Roberts side he slid on his knees a bit to come to rest beside Rob, immediatly grabbing the shirt he had taken off and pressing it against his chest. He didn't skip a beat to see how bad they were. Part of him didn't want to know. "Robert! I need you to focus, can you turn from a scratch from a re animated! And Where the nearest place to get medical supplies" he said, shaking his friend slightly.

(nope I don't mind. Sounds awersome!) Robert Derek Webber Quickly as it started the creature was gone. Robert felt sharp pain coming from his chest wound as the slashes were pretty deep. Heart was racing like crazy as he was scared that he have been turned just like the others. Robert stared at the clouds which were dark grey as he was thinking about Anya, the girl he had a crush on. Breathing was laboured due to the body going into shock. 'I have finally been punished for what I have gone. Everything makes sense now', then suddenly he heard Deo and he looked at him as he was panicking and trying his best to calm down now.
"Deo you have to go just in case they come back. I don't want you hurt or killed" but Rob knew Deo wouldn't leave him so he finally he started to remember more about this situation. "No you can't get turned by scratches, unless it was bite and they body fluids like saliva, tears, blood etc mixes with my own, I am fine. There is a first aid kit in my pocket, I always carry bandages and some cream with me just in case I need it." His spoke a little as he was fighting to stay awake and his body was in a nasty shock. "Deo. I am scared, how bad does it look?"
The wounds would certainly need stitches and would leave one nasty scar, but he was safe and alive which was good thing. He breathed a little calmer now and looked at Deo some more. "I can't remember Deo. I haven't practiced medicine for so long, I gave up on it remember. I am being punished after what I done, this is what I deserved Deo. What am if I do changed? What would happen then?" He asked him as the fear was making him talk stupidly.

He could feel his friends heart racing as Darrea pressed the fabric against the wounds, he could feel the warm blood seeping through the fabric but he kept his face level. he had seen people die before of much worse wounds. Actually he didn't know that, he didn't want to peel back the shirt and find out what kind of damage the creature had done. What the fuck had it been? A wolf... But it was huge! And it wasn't a lumbering beast like the other zombies, no, this one calculated and gave up on the hunt. Probably knowing there was easier prey. His arms stung, he knew he would have to treat his own wounds eventually or risk infection but at this point it was in the back of his mind. He would visit Viri later if he could find her, she had always been good at stitching him up after all.
Robert told him to leave but Darrea fixed him with a stern look. "Not going to happen, I think its gone for now anyways" he said breathlessly. Robert carried on explaining that he couldn't be turned as long as there was no exchange of body fluid. Had the creature drooled? Was there any of that black sludge? God there were so many variables. He'd probably have to stay with Robert for the next few days to make sure he didn't change. Darrea shuddered, he didn't know if he could handle killing another friend... "Bandages? I hope there is a needle and thread in there..." Darrea mumbled. Then Robert said the worst thing he could, that he was scared and he wanted to know how bad it was. Deo looked Robert hard in the eyes before trailing his eyes down to the now red shirt. He peeled it back and grimaced but forced himself to examine the bloody mess. "it looks like 4 deep lacerations then a few other minor ones. You'll need stitches. I can do it but it won't be pretty." he said slowly.
Then Robert began talking about being punished and Deo rested the urge to slap him. "Your not being punished idiot. This place is swarming with Mudo, I told you that when I first saw you. If you turn..." Darrea broke off and swallowed slowly before forcing himself to continue. "If you turn I'll make sure you don't harm anyone else" Darrea finished sombrely, the meaning evident. He sighed, laying the shirt back over the wounds and pressing down as he began searching Robert's pockets one by one for the first aid kit. It had been some time since he had been forced to play medic, usually he had dissolving thread at least but anything would do at this point. God he wished cell phones were still around, or that Viri would magically appear and do this for him...

Robert Derek Webber Robert was still trying to get into his head he was badly injured. His hands kept going on his soaked through shirt, and his own green eyes saw the dark red on his fingers. Body was going into deep shock from the amount of blood piling more and more. His eyes closed more as his breathing was still pretty rapid. Why didn't I listen? Why did I have to fight? He kept on thinking more to himself and he was fighting the pain some more.
"Needle and Thread? I can't deal with anymore pain. Just shoot me Darrea, put me out of my misery." He coughed some more. "I can't fight anymore Darrea. I am done, I have lost too much blood" he spoke some more while he looked at the sky.
'Going back to his childhood cases he then went back to when his father was shot in the shop. His father was brave to the end, and he was protecting him and it was like his father was coming to him right now. Whispering in his ear, telling him to fight and stop being such a prat. Eyes focus back on Deo. Which was a little frightening.
"Deo, my car is park outside the park. It has my old bag where I practice medicine. It as everything you need to stitch the wound up. It as painkiller to in liquid form, so I wouldn't feel a thing. Hurry though, it's almost nightfall and that creature maybe watching and waiting for me to be half dead from the blood loss. Quick! I be alright I promise" He encouraged him to go knowing it was the right thing to do, since if he didn't go he would surely die.
"Also Deo if I do turn into one of those things, I want you to kill me. That's what I want, promise me on that" he requested and waited for him to get the equipment and so it would help him, as he was fighting hard as he can, but without the stitches he would bleed to death.
