Meeting Deo is like meeting someone you would gladly allow to kidnap you. He’s got a sly way of giving you his patented once-over while managing not to upset you in the slightest that he just undressed you with his eyes. He’ll proceed with all of the formalities, going on about just how nice it is to make your acquaintance. It’s all a fun little charade, especially when there’s nothing to be gained and there’s no denying that he thoroughly enjoys it. The bright afterglow of his presence lingers even after he is long gone. Can be too flippant to take important things seriously, major neurosis, talking over anyone he thinks is unimportant, asserting his opinion when it’s not needed. Executes nearly perfect arguments, making him a nightmare in disagreements. Eerily accurate at picking out which political hopefuls will run for president.

You know those histories where everything seems to go wrong one thing at a time? Deo has exactly that. He was born to a family that had everything and though that never went to his head his twin sister Vivian was always one to look down on others. His mother was spanish, his father from greeze so how they met still amazes Darrea. They were attached at the hip from birth, not literally, and until their parents got divorced they were the kind of twins that could read each others minds. But at 15 Vivian moved with their mother to Florida and Deo opted to stay with his father. Though everything was split 50/50 in the divorce he and his father were not hard pressed at all. Darrea still visited Vivian every so often but she seemed to be more and more like their mother and eventually the visits stopped. When he turned 18 he worked at a butchers shop making good money for a year before he joined the army. He wanted to make a name for himself and though he knew he wouldn't go down in history he wanted to be remembered as a hero. He was serving over seas when the apocalypse hit. His squad was recalled to the states and they were briefed on the way. It was no longer friendly territory and that it was now no different then where they had just come from. They were under attack almost as soon as they got off the plane, the base had been over run with this creatures. Only Darrea and 2 others escapes. Deo slowly began making his way home only to find his father dead, having killed himself so he wouldn't become one of them. After that Darrea did what he could to make his way to his mothers place to find his sister. He found them locked in a room, unable to get free, already turned. He killed them both. After setting his life straight he returned to the military, or what was left of it and he was sent to Cemetery Gates.
