Peter is a kind sort and yet is immature to the point that he enjoys getting others in dangers just so he can have some fun though there are times when he does not mean for this to happen, it just does because he thinks he is immune to danger.
On a good day however he can be mature and helps out his friends with whatever they need, he loves to shapeshift as he is able to go where others cannot because of the danger. But he knows better then to go too far into enemy territory unless he needs to as he knows too much of what happens if your caught.
No he wasn't that stupid/.
and the rest of it:
Peter was about 15 when he made into a werewolf and he did not think it fun when the transformations first began as he could not control it and he almost went insane, but he eventually learned how to control the transformations and he now enjoys it a lot as he is able to get around much rather then he would of otherwise.
When the tagging first began he was unhappy about it as he felt it infringed on his freedom and so fights it as he wants freedom and not feel like his every movement is watched, in werewolf form he goes on a killing spree with zombies as he hates them more then anything.
