Sorry. Just needed to get that out. I've been with my [incredible] boyfriend for two years and eight months. He's amazing. We met at church, where we still spend a lot of time.. But there's this girl.. lets call her Betty. Well her best friend USED to be my best friend a long time ago. Nothing really happened. Just drifted apart- you know? Well my boyfriend, Bobby, was typing a ton on his phone so I asked what he was doing.. this girl had facebook-ed him, and this is what the conversation was.

messages are exact copies. only names have changed. cept Bobby. thats his actual name.

Hey , i haven't seen you in forever but i wanted to know something..
i know your girlfriend doesn't like me and i couldn't care less. but she needs to stop giving looks to people because its starting to piss me off because she's doing it to me and [old best friends name here]. So i don't wanna make a big scene either so i wanted to tell you first so you could tell her , if not i would be gladly to do it myself. but i just wanted to tell you first so you would know what me and jasmine feel. i'm not usually like this , as in message you. i would go up to her myself but i didn't want to make a big deal either.

Well she acts like she's better than everyone no joke. Everyone says that. But I mean I was only like this because it's you, and you were like the big brother i'V always wanted but you know we kinda grew apart of each other because of her and I'm glad you didn't get mad or whatever about this message. I miss you too! I'll go back this wednesday and this Sunday , I miss you like crazy haha but I can't really talk to you without her giving me some face ._. But I mean I show I don't like her cause they way she acts and looks around me & I don't do well with people like that. Thanks bobby for understanding<3

I know [betty] im sorry. She gets jealous, and I would too if a guy could talk to her the same way I talk to you. You and I grew up in the same culture ya know? We know each other, she hasn't grown up in that culture and It makes her jealous. Ya know what I mean? Its hard for her to talk to you becuz she doesn't understand you ya know? Its hard to esplain. You and I have something in common that her and I don't and it makes her jealous: ) that's the simplest way I can put it. I will definitely talk to her about it alright? And if you feel anything else let me know and i'll talk to her as soon as possible: ) just try to be her friend okay? Yeah but she shouldn't really get jealous because I like other guys , & besides I will never like you like that, but I have to admit when I first first met you, I did haha but I'm over those feelings (: but I mean whatever makes you happy , I'm happy<3

He was a total sweetheart about answering her, but as you can see, she's horrible. I know you guys don't know me, but I have NEVER been described as 'think's she's better than everyone else'! I'm miss teacher's-pet-all-A's-student-who's-graduating-a-year-early-and-has-an-exprobation-officer-as-a-mother. I am NOT that kind of person. And who is she to ask if he's sure he wants to marry me? We've been together nearly THREE YEARS! Two more and I'll be eighteen and we'll be engaged. And me giving her dirty looks? She gives ME dirty looks. Probably because she still has a crush on him like she admitted she did when she 'first met him'. We were together when she first met him, by the way. Grrrr...

Poor Harley! Im sorry. There are just some people in the world that are cruel and only care about themselves. Don't let her get to you. By reacting to what she says is letting her win. Your boy friend clearly loves you and that's all that matters. It's not my buisness but I understand how you feel. Ive been with my boy friend for five years. Since our sophomore year in high school and during our senior year all my girl friends betrayed me and tried to convince my boy friend that I was cheating on him. So not true and they only said it because apparently I didn't stick up for them when someone said something bad about them. It got to me for the longest time but my boy friend never believed him and it was his trust and love that made me realize that it doesn't matter what others think. Lol sorry for the rant. Just want to make you feel better xD
