Landon is an intelligent boy who loves to read and is very interested in finding a cure for this diseased vaccine that has been dished out to most of the population. Of course he will never go into the actual profession of finding a cure because he has to look after his younger siblings. He is very protective of the few family members he has left, his aunt and her two children and his own four siblings. He would do anything to protect them and give up everything for them if needed and it has come close to that at times. He has no problem risking his life to find them food or to go out and find them a new place to live when their home is invaded.
The pressures of protecting people when there is only one other person capable of taking care of them if something happens to him gets to him sometimes. When this happens he will sneak away for a bit (never to far to not hear them call for him if they need him) or he will lock himself in his room and take some time for himself.
and the rest of it:
He was only still considered a kid when everything went to pot with the vaccine. He and his sibligns were at his Aunt Rita's house when news of the problem reached them and the first thing the woman did was to call up her husaband and tell him that he needed to come home. Of course what they had not expected was for the man to have gotten the vaccine or for Landon's parents to have gotten it as well. So, his aunt was stuck with trying to raise five kids along with her own two and to protect all of them and provide for all of them. That was where Landon stepped up and took on some of the responsiblity. He helped his aunt find food and had raided a few houses around the neighborhood to get money and other supplies needed.
The next few years went by as smoothly as any period of time could go with the undead wandering the streets right outside the door and trying to break into your home. Of course the doors held up for the first couple of days, but soon they were forced to relocate when one of them busted through the door and they all just barely got away with their lives. As the kids got older Landon forced his twin to step up and help out a little, but he refused to allow the other boy to go out and face the possible death to get them food or hunt down money.
They finally settled down in a rather safe neighborhood and have been there for two years, but Landon is always on the look-out for possible problems and always on guard in case of an attack.
