calliope has always been sweet and down-to-earth but a lot of people would assume that since she is an angel and that is usually what is expected. this girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body and rarely lets anything get her mad. though, she is rather sensitive and tries to avoid conflict of any kind. calliope is helpful and likes to guide people in the right direction instead of the bad. she is very shy and most likely wouldn't be the one to start a conversation as it scares her a little bit but if someone were to come talk to her; she would definitely have a chat with them. calliope isn't really one to get herself in trouble and she never has since she doesn't see the point in doing stupid stunts. she isn't a fan of change so she tries to keep things the way she way she likes it and keeps it that way. she is also a neat freak, if the room isn't clean she has to clean it or it bugs her to no end. sometimes she can come across as slightly sarcastic and far to honest for her own good. though, she does try to candy-coat things so that she doesn't hurt someone's feelings but sometimes that is hard to do. calliope can come across as naive but she isn't stupid but that doesn't mean she can't guilted or manipulated into doing anything because she is a push-over.
and the rest of it:
both of calliope's parents were angels when she was born so she was practically an angel when she was born though she never got her wings until just a few years ago. even though she was born and raised by angels to be an angel the wings were hard to adapt too. fitting in was hard enough as it was without trying to hide feathery wings from everyone's sight. everything else was pretty easy for calliope but the wings made her slightly self-concious of who she was and what she might look like to others. though it wasn't long before her family was sent to cemetery gates with all kinds of supernatural beings which scared calliope a bit as she hadn't communicated much with other supernaturals outside of angels. she hadn't really mind the move since she didn't so out of place and it helped with her becoming more comfortable with herself as she knew a lot of these creatures/people were going through the same thing as she was or already had but she didn't feel so 'freakish' like she did before. though, she does wish that she didn't feel so caged like an animal when it comes to being stuck in cemetery gates. other then that calliope has lead on a pretty normal life seeing as she graduated high school as one of the top kids in class, she took piano lesson starting at a young age and she stills lives a fairly normal life besides the new location and her wings.
