It’s hard to put a finger on Amelia Jane, better known as “AJ “to her peers, and honestly, she likes to keep it that way. Her witty comments and breathtaking smile often make other forget about their problems, even if it’s just for a moment. Unlike most people, AJ has the wonderful ability to not give a damn about what people think of her. Other than being able to charbroil an object by thought, she’s pretty much normal. She loves the color blue, cooking, and guys who wear glasses, for some reason. The thought of flying freaks her out, which is bad considering she is usually at the top of the list for foreign missions, and she tries her best to stay away from cats, plaid patterns, and kerosene. Being a paranormal that works for the PSA, her social calendar usually consists of solo shopping trips, playing video games, and watching bad foreign films.

Being a fire sprite was at first hard to accept for AJ, considering she was told by her parents at the age of 11, and that she was soon taken from her home placed with a family in the city of Cemetery Gates. Though she was still able to keep in contact with them, she hasn’t completely forgiven them for giving her up so easily, and allowing her to be tagged like an animal and taken to a “reserve” for laymen’s terms. Growing up in Cemetery Gates wasn’t easy, what with the rouges trying to recruit others for their cause, and the overall constant tension between the PSA and the residents, there was always something to worry about. After finishing school a few years early, AJ applied for the Paranormal Society of America, and was a bit surprised when she was accepted. AJ’s choices placed her permanently in the enemy zone, making her a target for various insults when she wasn’t safe behind the walls of PSA’s headquarters. Speaking of the enemy zone, AJ have collected quite a few of them, most in the PSA. Though most hide it well, not all of the members are so eager to have paranormals working with them, especially one as dangerous as she. Though she does brush it off when she can, having almost been killed twice on missions because a member” thought she could handle it”, did cause AJ to be more peculiar.
